During a project for the American Institute Of Graphic Arts, we noticed that many of the terms employed by designers have an inherent dark side to them. Widow. Orphan. Bleed.

With this in mind we developed Design... Not for the Faint of Heart, a macabre microsite that tested the knowledge of students and young designers across the world. The object was to find all 25 design terms hidden in a grim scene and win the poster (see it below). T-shirts were also made available, and we ended up with orders from Stockholm to Osaka, Sao Paulo to Bemidji. And in 2010 we were added to the design curriculum in Toronto schools.
